HogsmeadeIt's OPEN! It's FINALLY HERE!! The wait is finally over! The Harry Potter Theme Park in Universal Studios Orlando has finally made it's opening this Spring 2010. I received tweets from Tom Felton (as Draco Malfoy in the movie) saying he enjoyed his stay at "The Wizarding world".
It's all there! From Hogsmeade; The Three Broomsticks with their famous Butterbeer, - which is NON-ALOHOLIC by the way- Daigon Alley with Olivander's Wand Shoppe, Honedydukes, Flourish and Blotts and the famous WWW (Weasley's Wizarding Wheeze) and ofcourse, Hogwarts itself!! Can you imagine?! I've been waiting for almost 9 years for the Harry Potter world to come to life, and it finally has!
I have dreamt of walking into Honeydukes and getting a couple of sweets, into Olivander's to get my First Wand, get myself books from Flourish and Bltots and walk the great halls of Hogwarts! All I wish for now, is to be there. Dad wanted to go to LA earlier this year but it didn't happen, which, THANK GOD we didn't. Since it postponed, now if we were to go, I'll be able to step feet into the Wizarding World myself! I just can't believe it.
I remember talking to my best friends, 4 years back dreaming of such a place. The dream never stoped. All we dreamt of were walking into Honeydukes and getting all those sweets and drinking Butterbeer in The Three Broomsticks! Gosh. I wanna go there so badlyyy!
Yes, I am a Harry Potter freak! So what!? I've been one for 8 years straight and I don't regret! One day, I will have enough money to go to the theme park together with my best friends and live our dreams. LUKAM, I miss you. I truly do. Each and every one.. [:(]
The feedback of the theme park has been overwhelming which makes me want to go even more!! I once said jokingly, "when Harry Potter World opens, the cast of Harry Potter is going to be there!" and they really were! On 16th June, the whole cast of Harry Potter was there including the author herself, J.K Rowling.
Today I shall vow that, I WILL go to the Harry Potter Theme Park in Universal Studios Orlando with my family and my best friends. Yes, I will.
